Accounts Payable Supervisor

Randstad is partnered with a high-end manufacturer and distribution company headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, to help them find an AP Supervisor for their growing team.  Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, have familiarity with a large ERP system and be proficient using Excel. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite and have leadership experience. This a permanent direct hire role targeting a $75k salary and offering a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Guide, train, and distribute daily workloads for the accounts payable staff while monitoring overall team performance.
• Payment Processing: Oversee the precise entry and timing of supplier invoices and multi-method payments (including wires, ACH, and checks).
• Compliance: Evaluate expense coding for total accuracy and enforce strict alignment with company policies and internal controls.
• Vendor Management: Handle strategic vendor relations by resolving complex account discrepancies and systematically reconciling supplier statements.
• Closing Support: Partner with the broader accounting department during month-end close by managing ledger reviews and account reconciliations.
• Specialized Calculations: Manage assigned calculations for sales bonuses and commission schedules.
• Tax Administration: Secure and maintain W-9 documentation and direct the execution of annual 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC tax reporting.
