Key Account Director

Core Responsibilities Business Leadership – Operate as the General Manager for a top key account in North America, leading a cross‑functional team across sales, marketing, eCommerce, and operations. Drive mutual value, define joint business plans, collaborate across the Business Unit, inspire and coach high‑performing teams, and innovate go‑to‑market principles. Results Orientation – Own the customer P&L, deliver sustainable commercial growth, use data‑driven performance measurement, coordinate joint forecasts, promote operational innovation with digital tools, and improve productivity. Relationship Elevation – Build trusted partnerships, negotiate trade agreements, apply insights for test‑and‑learn growth opportunities, and develop sales and eCommerce capabilities. Strategic Orientation – Think both executionally and strategically, set a 3‑5 year vision with the Key Account Vice President, align with broader LEGO Group priorities, pursue omni‑channel opportunities, and continue upskilling the team. Qualifications Significant customer‑facing experience in consumer packaged goods, with several years of dedicated eCommerce experience. Proven account management skills with an insights‑based approach to selling that creates mutually beneficial solutions. Expertise in negotiation, long‑term planning, inventory collaboration, and critical thinking. Track record of successful commercial management, driving and managing external partners at medium to high complexity. Experience leading large‑scale customer businesses within retail and/or eCommerce environments. Formal people leadership experience, including coaching, developing, and elevating team performance. Strong business sense, collaborative approach, excellent communication, team orientation, and integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities across several functions through strong planning and organizational skills to achieve effective and timely execution. Self‑motivated, creative, results‑driven, critical thinker who interprets trends and challenges the status quo constructively. Demonstrated LEGO Leadership Playground behaviors – bravery, curiosity, focus. Ability to articulate complex topics concisely, explain rationale through data and insights, and influence senior leaders, including C‑suite. Experience with large U.S. or Canadian retailers, specifically within fast‑moving consumer goods, is a plus. Relocation There is no relocation budget for this role. Hybrid Working Model This position follows a 3‑day in‑office hybrid model to support flexibility for employees. Compensation The salary range for this position is $169,031.00 – $253,547.00, based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.
