Job Title: Host & Server Assistant (Late-Night Shift)
Job Summary:
One Sushi Korean Japanese Cafe is looking for a versatile and high-energy individual to join our team for the late-night shift. This hybrid role combines the welcoming duties of a Host with the supportive functions of a Server Assistant. You will be the face of our restaurant for arriving guests and a vital support system for our service team during our busy late-night hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Host Duties:
- Warmly greet and seat guests as they arrive, and serve menu & water
- Handle phone calls, reservations, and manage take-out/delivery orders.
- Server Assistant Duties:
- Support the preparation, like folding napkins & refilling sauces.
- Support the waitstaff by delivering food and beverages to tables promptly.
- Clear dirty dishes, sanitize tables, and reset them for the next guests to maintain quick table turnover.
- Refill water/drinks and assist with guest requests to ensure a 5-star experience.
- Closing Support: Assist with light cleaning and restocking as the late-night shift concludes.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player who is willing to "jump in" where needed.
- Availability: Must be able to work late evening/night shifts (up to 12:00 AM).
- Previous experience in a Korean or Japanese restaurant is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
