MGSA – Department of Music Coadjutant - Part Time Support Position - Fall 2026 The Department of Music, Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University invites applications for part‑time academic and instructional support positions for Fall 2026. Roles include substitute musicians, production staff for Fall Opera, guest artists, accompanists for applied lessons, classical and jazz chamber ensemble coaching, secondary applied lessons, pedagogy instruction, Music Education supervisors, area coordinators, choral area accompanists, graduate student department assistants for secondary lessons and tech classes, Rutgers Marching Scarlet Knights, and other departmental academic support tasks. Position Status: Part Time Posting Number: 26FA0598 Open Date: 06/11/2026 Close Date: 11/01/2026 Qualifications Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in fine arts and at least one year of teaching and/or technical experience. Graduate degree preferred. Preferred qualifications: strong pedagogical, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills. Salary and Benefits Salary: Minimum of $250–$750 for the contract period, depending on position and number of sessions. The final salary offer may be determined by candidate qualifications, experience, expertise, availability of departmental or grant funds, market benchmarks, and internal equity.
