Location: Longview, Washington

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $278 - $299/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Urologist:

MD/DO physician type required with a minimum of 2 years of experience

Washington state license must be in hand at time of presentation; IMLC candidates accepted if Letter of Qualification (LOQ) is in hand

Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction

Manage and treat kidney stones

Treat male incontinence

Perform cystoscopies

Provide surgical assist services

Perform yearly refills as applicable

Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings across a medical center and urology clinic

Both hospital and clinic privileges required

Manage an average of 18 patients per day

Perform standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room, including: catheter placement, STENT placement, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy

Da Vinci experience is a plus but not required

Provide 7 days of unrestricted call per month; call is restricted/beeper with a 10-minute return call response time and a 3045 minute radius

Average after-hours text/call volume of 04

Provide documentation of surgical services (case list of 100 procedures) representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility

Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and charting

See patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups

Seek fast track or urgent credentialing as needed

Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation

COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions
