About the Position

Position Overview $325/hour

A community medical center in Washington is seeking a Board Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning as soon as credentialing is complete.

This opportunity offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic, operating room time, inpatient consultations, and compensated call while practicing in a well-established general urology practice utilizing Epic EMR. Physicians work independently with a manageable patient volume and a relatively light after-hours call burden.

Candidates with Da Vinci robotic surgery experience and broad general urology experience are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Highlights

• Full-time opportunity through December 2026
• General Urology
• Combination of inpatient and outpatient practice
• Clinic, OR, hospital consults, and procedures
• Three clinic days weekly
• One OR day weekly
• One paid administrative day weekly
• Seven consecutive days of unrestricted beeper call monthly
• Average after-hours call volume: 0–4 pages nightly
• Epic EMR
• 122-bed community hospital
• Da Vinci robotic surgery required
• Solo practice environment
• Temporary privileges available
• Washington license required (IMLC Letter of Qualification accepted for expedited licensure)
• Pay Ranking: Top 15% nationally

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage outpatient urology patients
• Perform office procedures
• Perform scheduled operative cases
• Provide inpatient consultations
• Manage emergency urologic conditions
• Perform emergency surgical procedures when indicated
• Interpret imaging and diagnostic studies
• Complete documentation in Epic EMR
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care
