About the Position

We are seeking a Locum Neurology Physician to provide coverage in Longview, WA. The role includes outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, admissions, hospital consultations & unrestricted night call. Coverage is needed approximately 1 week per month , with preference for 3–5 days of call coverage.

• Evaluate & treat adult neurology patients
• Provide outpatient neurology clinic services
• Perform inpatient rounding & admissions
• Respond to hospital consultations
• Provide unrestricted 24 hour call coverage
• Manage overnight calls by phone
• Perform in house consultations when onsite
• Interpret & manage EEG and EMG related cases
• Provide clinical decision making for acute & chronic neurological conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians, NP & hospital staff
• Provide both inpatient & outpatient neurological care

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Neurology
• Active Washington medical license required
• IMLC candidates may be considered
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• BLS & ACLS required
• EPIC experience required
• Must have documented clinical activity within the last 24 months
• Minimum 100 relevant cases required
• EEG & EMG experience required
