About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for an exciting locum position in  Washington . This position offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient care with a flexible schedule and the potential for ongoing coverage.

Position Highlights

• Specialty: Psychiatry
• Location: Washington
• Start Date: November 30, 2026
• Duration: 26-week assignment with ongoing coverage potential
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Coverage: Scheduled shifts with optional call

Practice Details

• Combination of inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
• 5–7 inpatient shifts per month
• 12–19 outpatient clinic days per month
• Inpatient/Outpatient split days:
  • Inpatient: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
  • Outpatient Clinic: 1:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Occasional early start (7:30 AM) for court appearances
• Optional night call
• Weekend coverage approximately once per quarter (remote telepsychiatry available for providers residing in Washington)
• Average patient volume: 12–14 adult patients per day
• Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, and discharges
• Solo provider role
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active Washington medical license required at the time of presentation
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS certification
• Epic experience required
• Documentation of clinical activity from the past 24 months (100 representative patient cases) required for credentialing
