About the Position

Locum Psychiatry – Washington

Position Overview
Start date is November 28, 2026. One FTE is needed for Behavioral Health coverage. The need is open due to a gap in coverage, as the current locums provider is not extending after August.

Facility and Practice Setting
Providers will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings, located approximately five minutes from each other. Both clinic and hospital privileges are required. Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, and discharges. The provider will be working solo.

Patient Population and Volume

• Adult patient population
• Average daily patient volume of 12–14 patients
• Hospital bed size: 126
• Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, and discharges
• No procedures required

✅ Privileges and Requirements

• Both clinic and hospital privileges required
• Active Washington license required at time of presentation
• Not open to IMLC at this time due to fast-track or urgent credentialing timeframe
• MD/DO candidates accepted
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required or preferred based on facility expectations
• Clinical activity from the past 24 months required: applicant must provide documentation/case list of clinical services for 100 patients representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed.
