Hospitalist Physician

Hospitalist physician employment in Virginia : TeamHealth is growing our established hospital medicine program in Richmond, Virginia, and we're looking for a full-time nocturnist to join our team. This is a nights only position with a predictable 7-on, 7-off schedule, allowing for an excellent work life balance while practicing in two respected HCA hospitals.

Physicians rotate between Chippenham Hospital and Johnston Willis Hospital , both located in the Richmond metropolitan area.

Position Highlights

• Nights only, 7pm to 7am
• 7-on, 7-off schedule
• Full time commitment of 182 clinical hours per month (approximately 14 shifts)
• Procedures are not required
• Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivist coverage
• ED manages codes
• Strong specialty support across both hospitals
• Meditech EMR
• Chippenham Hospital: 466-bed, level II trauma center
• Johnston Willis Hospital: 300-bed, acute care hospital
