Job Overview
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician for a contract position with a school district in Caldwell, ID. In this role, you will work 1-on-1 or in small groups with students to implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), support social-emotional development, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Student Support: Deliver 1:1 behavioral interventions and support to students in classroom and school settings following established Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Data Collection: Accurately collect and track behavioral data during sessions to assist Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and school teams in monitoring student progress.

Behavior Management: Use positive reinforcement and proactive strategies to address challenging behaviors and encourage skill acquisition.

Team Collaboration: Partner with special education teachers, BCBAs, school administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student success.

Safety & Care: Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment tailored to the student’s individual needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred).

Certification: Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain/maintain state-required behavioral certifications.

Experience: Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school, clinical, or therapeutic setting with individuals on the autism spectrum or with special needs.

Background Checks: Ability to pass standard district background checks and drug screenings in Idaho.

Position Details & Benefits
