Come join us on our journey!About the Role:As a Regional Area Maintenance Manager, you will transform workplace environments in your region by leading dynamic maintenance teams that ensure safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. In this critical role, you'll develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and create a supportive work culture that empowers technicians to perform at their best. You will blend strategic planning, hands-on problem-solving, and team leadership. But wait, there’s more: We provide lightweight fire-resistant daily wear and composite toe safety shoes for your safety!Key job responsibilitiesKey job responsibilities include but are not limited to:• You will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance• You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across your region• You will design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs across your region that enhance operational efficiency, as well as manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards• You will monitor Material Handling Equipment (MHE) metrics and partner with applicable teams to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations• You will travel domestically up to 80% to provide escalation support and guidance within your regionBasic qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon experience- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays- 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience- 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience- 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experiencePreferred qualification - Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, or Master's degree- Experience working with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integrators- Experience maintaining material handling equipment and integrated systems- Experience in project management- Experience with statistical analysisAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
