Department Overview Silvus Technologies was acquired by Motorola Solutions in 2025 and is now part of its ecosystem of safety and security technologies. With deep roots in DARPA research, Silvus develops world-class advanced communications technologies that are reshaping the tactical communications landscape. From pure line-of-sight to extreme non-line-of-sight, Silvus radios form a self-healing, self-forming mesh network, enabling secure and reliable connectivity, including video and high-bandwidth data. Job Description Silvus Technologies, a leading provider of advanced MANET and MIMO communications systems, is reshaping mesh network technology for mission-critical applications—on the ground, in the air and at sea. Its battle‑proven StreamCaster family of MANET radios and proprietary MN‑MIMO waveform provides the vital communications link for defense, law enforcement and public safety agencies around the world. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc., Silvus seeks a Facilities Coordinator to support day‑to‑day facilities operations across our Southern California locations. The role reports to and works closely with the Office Manager to ensure all locations operate efficiently, safely and in compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, maintaining facility readiness, supporting workplace operations, and assisting with ongoing projects and site expansions. The position is full-time, on‑site daily, Monday through Friday, based at our headquarters in West Los Angeles, with occasional travel to other Southern California locations as needed. Role And Responsibilities Serve as the first responder for all facilities‑related concerns, supporting daily operations across multiple office and production spaces to ensure areas are functional, clean, and well‑maintained. Coordinate with service vendors to schedule visits, track progress, and ensure timely completion of work. Travel to other company locations (Culver City warehouse, Irvine, San Diego) as needed to support facilities operations and projects. Maintain inventory of facility supplies, including kitchen, breakroom and operational materials; restock as needed. Support office moves, space planning updates and workstation set‑up/teardown. Liaise with building management and vendors for facility‑related requests, including maintenance, access and building services. Help track and manage work orders, service requests and ongoing facilities projects. Conduct routine walkthroughs of spaces to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns or operational gaps. Support implementation of workplace policies and procedures related to facilities and safety. Assist with emergency response coordination and facilities‑related compliance requirements as needed. Perform other related duties as representative. Required Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma or GED. 1–3 years of experience in facilities, office operations, workplace services or a similar role. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Demonstrated ability to operate independently and as part of a team. Capability for critical thinking and problem‑solving. Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel among sites. Strong organizational, critical thinking and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise sound judgment in a fast‑paced environment. Proactive and detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership and follow‑through. Preferred Qualifications Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Exceptional time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Working Conditions And Physical Requirements Travel to other office locations. Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Walking/Moving around office and warehouse environments. Indoor air‑conditioned facility. Employment Requirements Must be a U.S. Person due to government contracts. Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test. Compensation $30 per hour. The pay range is NOT a guarantee; it is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Travel Requirements 10–25% travel to other office locations.
