Business Development Director

Company LATECOERE Location Mountain Lake Terrace, United States Job Summary The Business Developer is responsible for developing Latecoere America’s growth by identifying new opportunities at new customers and ultimately securing profitable business. The primary focus area is to identify and develop the Sales strategy that will lead to new market segments, with the potential creation of new strategic partnerships that will contribute to the long term growth of Latecoere. The Business Developer requires high level customer engagement, often at the senior levels, as well as the ability to coordinate internal resources toward a successful product offering, including bid management, financial analysis and negotiations, while acting as the Voice of the customer. The Business Developer will also support the development and execution of the Strategic Plan to grow sales in the Americas. Provide regular forecasts and customer feedback for continued sales growth. This position requires a proven ability to network with the Aerospace Manufacturers, build and improve relationships, define market opportunities, manage expectations and successfully secure sales of new and promote existing products. Responsibilities Contribute to a dynamic, highly creative, and competitive sales organization by aggressively pursuing new customers. Identify and meet with potential key customers to build relationships and evaluate or promote business opportunities. Prepare definitive territory and business segment plans based on market research and competitive analyses to identify potential markets, customers and new products. Actively pursue new business and new customers. Ensure coordinated, responsive, and efficient service & problem resolution. Participate in sales presentations and negotiations as appropriate to ensure maximum impact. Formulate market and product development strategies (in conjunction with VP Sales) to support continued profitable market growth and create new markets. Detail competitive landscape and recommend an approach to a successful outcome. Develop and negotiate commercial agreements. Provide clear direction in structuring customer proposals to best support customers' expectations. Exhibit highly capable presentation skills supporting customer visits, trade shows, public speaking, etc. Work independently without direct supervision. Exercise great latitude for independent judgment. Ensure professional participation in key industry marketing and sales events.
