Job Title: Academic Records Coordinator, Part-Time – Office of the Registrar Location: Kennesaw, Georgia (Primary location Kennesaw campus, 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144) ; secondary location: Marietta campus, 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060 Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 298627 Job Summary Responsible for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of students’ records activities including graduation clearance forms, enrollment certifications, transcript evaluations, etc. Interacts with students regarding grade changes, discrepancies, calculation of GPAs, transcript requests. Ensures compliance with FERPA, federal, state, university, and USG regulations while communicating with students, faculty, staff, and outside agencies. Responsibilities Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of academic records. Process grade changes, academic transcript requests and other student document requests. Review and research requests, update records ensuring policy, procedures, and compliance. Verify and certify institutional student records (GPAs, academic standings, courses, and grades). Conduct audits and evaluations of records to ensure information is complete and correct per guidelines. Maintain a timeline of historical calendar changes in the Registrar's Office. Backup electronic student records files, image records, and import data into the system. Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in a related field. Three (3) years of related work experience. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with FERPA. Knowledge of Banner student information system or other student record systems. Knowledge of specialized registrar core functions. Advanced degree from an accredited institution in a related field. Salary Budgeted salary range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour (average 19 hours per week). Offers are based on relevant experience. Knowledge & Skills Strong interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management, and presentation skills. Proficient with computer applications: Microsoft Office, BANNER, OnBase, or similar electronic records management systems.
