Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
• Potential to float to other units serving the same patient population, including emergency department coverage
• May be required to care for patients on ventilators depending on unit needs
• Rotate shifts between day and night as needed to meet operational demands
• Work at least every other holiday as required by facility scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience within a single facility location
• Experience caring for patients on ventilators
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months
