Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, and immunology—following defined protocols.
• Examine results for accuracy, diagnose errors, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and preparation for testing as required.
• Record all processes meticulously, train incoming staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality benchmarks.
• Ensure the laboratory environment is clean and safe, complying with both regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within one year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
