Deliver personalized, one-on-one therapies targeting fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care.
Provide educational resources for patients and their families, encouraging progress and support outside of therapy sessions.
Participate in inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions as needed, guaranteeing a seamless pathway through the healing journey.
Ensure accurate documentation adheres to relevant guidelines from state and federal agencies and the organization.
Commit to ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in your field through courses and peer engagements.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have not yet received ASHA certification.
Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the first month of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based methodologies for all age groups, with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders concerning speech, language, and swallowing.
