Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders in individuals and families.

• Leading therapeutic sessions, utilizing evidence-based methods to treat conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship issues.

• Developing personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of clients, with continual reevaluation to ensure progress.

• Providing psycho-education to clients and their families about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Facilitating sessions that focus on specific issues including conflict resolution among family members, adjustment to life changes, and support through grief and loss.

• Documenting clinical progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Referring clients to additional specialists when necessary to ensure they receive holistic care.
\n
• Engaging in regular supervision and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as an LMFT will focus on a diverse range of patients dealing with various challenges, including but not limited to:

• Identifying and addressing the effects of substance abuse within family systems.
\n
• Providing support to clients experiencing trauma from domestic issues, including physical and psychological abuse.
\n
• Helping families navigate the complexities of blended family dynamics, separation, and divorce.
\n
• Offering counseling for job stress and its implications on personal relationships.
\n

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Strong clinical skills in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders.

• Ability to establish rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experience will be given preference:

Compensation and Benefits\n
