Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans aligned with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsible for overseeing therapy services for assigned patients, the therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs that promote effective community reintegration. The role also includes educating patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to professional standards and compliance expectations.

• Completes thorough evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilizes clinical reasoning to create treatment plans focused on patient discharge goals.
• Documents patient care in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Ensures all care provided is under valid physician orders and complies with insurance requirements.
• Participates in student education and oversight as assigned.
• Maintains professional licensure and completes state-mandated continuing education.
• Engages in organizational performance improvement initiatives and provides feedback for enhancing service quality.

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active physical therapy license for the state where work will be performed.
