- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and specialized treatments safely and accurately
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress situations
