Overview Experienced Tax Professional - Remote at H&R Block. Join to apply for this role and provide tax services to clients with diverse needs, supported by an expert team and comprehensive training. What you’ll do Conduct tax interviews with clients and support do-it-yourself online tax clients through virtual tools (video conferencing, phone, chat, email). Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services. Collaborate with leaders and peers to communicate how remote work impacts results; coordinate regularly to ensure success. Grow tax expertise and stay current with tax laws and practices. Qualifications CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred). Experience completing complex tax returns and individual tax returns. 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax. Experience conducting virtual tax interviews and providing confident client service. Tax planning and audit support experience. Access to high-speed, reliable internet; proficient with MS Teams and Outlook; strong technology skills. High school diploma or higher; ability to meet continuing education requirements and IRS/state requirements. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during peak tax season. Ability to research information using tax tools and IRS publications to understand client needs.
