Job Description Summary The Market Research Assistant Manager supports the Market Research Director in executing high-quality consumer research initiatives that drive product innovation, marketing strategy, and business decision-making. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day research operations, coordinating projects on the in‑house consumer research platform, ensuring data quality, and translating findings into clear, actionable insights. Ideal candidate: highly organized, analytically strong, execution-focused, and comfortable working across teams. A strong interest in beauty consumers, research platforms, and hands‑on project ownership is essential. Research Project Execution & Management Plan, execute, and manage qualitative and quantitative research projects (surveys, product testing, co‑creation, interviews) under the guidance of the Market Research Director Own project timelines, fieldwork execution, participant management, and deliverables Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and speed In‑House Consumer Research Platform Operations Manage daily operations of the in‑house consumer research platform, including project setup, monitoring responses, and troubleshooting issues Collaborate with internal stakeholders and developers to ensure smooth execution of research activities Support testing, rollout, and optimization of new platform features Data Analysis & Insight Development Analyze research data and synthesize findings into clear insights and implications Prepare charts, tables, summaries, and draft reports that support strategic recommendations Identify key consumer patterns, unmet needs, and actionable opportunities Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Marketing, Product, R&D, and Sales teams to understand research needs Support presentations and insight‑sharing sessions with internal stakeholders Ensure research outputs are practical, relevant, and easy to apply Quality Control & Research Best Practices Ensure data accuracy, respondent quality, and methodological rigor Monitor participant behavior and flag potential data quality issues Support continuous improvement of research processes, guidelines, and templates Qualifications 5–8 years of experience in market research, consumer insights, marketing analytics, or related fields Hands‑on experience managing end‑to‑end research projects (qualitative & quantitative) Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise insights Experience working with research platforms, online panels, or community‑based research tools (preferred) High attention to detail, strong project management skills, and ability to meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in beauty, personal care, or consumer goods industries is a strong plus Benefits Premium Medical Insurance Coverage 401(k) Savings Plan Paid Time Off (PTO) based on seniority Paid Holidays Additional Workplace Offerings (subject to change or eligibility) Annual Bonus Plan Onsite Employee Fitness Center with Indoor Racquetball Court and Yoga Room Summer Fridays Complimentary Gourmet Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Relocation Support for New Hires Work Anniversary Recognitions Congratulatory & Condolence Gifts Employee Referral Bonus Program License/Certification Reimbursements Corporate Employee Discounts Visa Sponsorships (100% paid by the company) Commuter Support (Shuttle Bus Program and EZPass Support) Vehicle Perks Education Bachelor of Arts (B.A) (Required) Work Experience Experience Range III: 4 – 8 years of relevant experience or industry exposure in a related field Skills Data Insights, Research Analysis, Strategic Planning, Trend Analysis Languages English, Korean Certification Not Applicable Compensation The anticipated compensation range is 22.75 – 44.50 USD hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
