Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and engage in individual, couples, and family therapy sessions tailored to meet specific client needs.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review customized treatment plans that reflect ongoing client progress and feedback.

• Document clinical sessions meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to collaborate with other professionals, enhancing client care strategies and outcomes.

• Stay informed on best practices and the latest research in the field of marriage and family therapy to continuously improve therapeutic techniques and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role includes a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents and families dealing with mental health issues, to individuals navigating relationships and addiction challenges. You will work with clients from various cultural backgrounds and will have the opportunity to implement tailored therapeutic approaches that meet their unique needs. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will be instrumental in fostering healthy communication and resolving conflicts within family units.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field is required.
\n
• Possession of a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Maryland.

• Demonstrated capability in working with a wide array of client demographics, showcasing empathy and cultural competence in your approach.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on collaborative care and creating rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably with an outpatient focus.

• Familiarity with using telehealth platforms and an understanding of virtual therapy best practices.

• Experience implementing evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
