About the Role


We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions for robotics and autonomous systems applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, reliable, and efficient software that solves complex technical and business challenges.


Responsibilities
• Design, develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software applications using C++ and related technologies.
• Build logical and mathematical solutions to complex engineering and operational problems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and integrate software components for robotic systems using ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Utilize modern development tools and best practices, including version control, containerization, and automated workflows.
• Analyze system capabilities, performance requirements, and data flows to develop optimized software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration challenges.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to software engineering standards.
• Continuously improve software reliability, maintainability, and scalability.


Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing software applications using C++.
• Experience working in Linux-based development environments.
• Experience using Git for source control and collaborative software development.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics software development.
• Strong knowledge of software design, debugging, testing, and system integration principles.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively within cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications
• Experience developing software for robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time applications.
• Knowledge of software architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with simulation environments, sensors, and robotic hardware integration.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
