Job Description Provide direct daily support to a Partner in the Family Law practice Manage calendars, deadlines, court dates, and scheduling with accuracy Draft, revise, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence Transcribe dictation and electronic recordings with precision Handle frequent document edits and revisions based on attorney feedback Coordinate e‑filing and interact with court staff, experts, and opposing counsel Communicate professionally with clients regarding document requests and updates Maintain organized case files and track key deadlines Assist with billing support, including draft bills and collections tracking Provide administrative and overflow support to other attorneys as needed Qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Family Law Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary Working knowledge of New Jersey family law procedures and court rules Advanced Microsoft Word skills, especially formatting and document revisions Strong organizational, time management, and proofreading abilities Professional communication skills and comfort working with sensitive matters Ability to handle a high volume of work with shifting priorities Willingness to work overtime when required Why You Will Love Working Here You will be part of a supportive, professional team that values collaboration, attention to detail, and mutual respect.
