Job Description Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with RNFA to join the Department of Orthopedics at Morristown Medical Center. The position is part‑time, with a rotating schedule covering day shifts and intermittent weekends. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of orthopedic and/or spine experience, with previous experience in the operating room as a first assist. They should work collaboratively with the team, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and be efficient in a fast‑paced environment. Primary responsibilities include assisting in rounds; performing consultations; first assisting in spine cases; ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests; evaluating postoperative patients; and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure best patient care. The role will also involve occasional cross‑coverage with the orthopedic joint/trauma team, collaborating with the APPs and orthopedic residents.
