Behavioral Health Therapist I

The Pediatric Obsessive‑Compulsive Disorder Program is the only program of its kind in Western Pennsylvania, offering both outpatient and intensive outpatient programming for patients aged 5‑18. The program utilizes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is located in the Pine Center in Wexford, with daylight hours Monday through Friday. Parking is free on site. Sign‑on bonuses up to $7,000 are available. Responsibilities Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization. Periodically review cases and serious clinical changes with supervisors and clinical personnel. Assess changing patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans. Conduct assessments of new patients under supervision, document clinical decisions, and implement treatment models. Provide individual and group therapy, engage families in treatment, and educate patients on recovery. Document all patient‑related activities according to guidelines. Discuss additional service needs with the clinical team and refer patients to appropriate care levels or community services. Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss cases, update treatment plans, and monitor progress. Maintain daily records of clinical productivity. Create comprehensive treatment plans addressing a variety of patient needs. Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or a related field (completed educational requirements as defined in the practicing state’s code). One year of clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment processes and familiarity with the current version of the DSM preferred. Experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances Passed the examination required by 49.11. relating to licensure examination. Must sign a license agreement and be actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.
