Electrical EstimatorA fastly growing electrical contractor in Florida is actively searching for an electrical estimator to join their estimating department at either the Tampa or Orlando office. This company focuses on new electrical projects for large commercial/multifamily buildings all throughout the Southeast region.Responsibilities:Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.Collaborate, train, and assist estimating team.Develop material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for electrical projects.Identify potential cost-saving strategies and risks associated with estimates.Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.Review and refine estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with bid requirements.Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews.Support project managers in budget development and cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle.Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices to improve estimating accuracy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).At least 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction methodologies.Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Employee incentives:Competitive salary with bonus opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO).Opportunity to work on high-profile data center and industrial projects.Supportive and dynamic team environment.Career growth opportunities with ongoing training and development.
