Manager, HRBP- NORAM

Manager, HRBP – NORAM Manager, HRBP – NORAM is a strategic partner for senior leaders and a key point of support for Cloudbeds team members across North America and Canada. The role focuses on organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, culture, and people strategy, while ensuring compliance with U.S. and Canadian employment laws and supporting a remote‑first workforce. We’re a fully remote team of innovators who value inclusion, collaboration, and a culture of empathy and execution. Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership

  • Serve as primary HRBP for business units, partnering with leaders at all levels to align People strategies with business goals.
  • Lead organizational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching, talent programs, and change initiatives; provide strategic insights to build inclusive, high‑performing teams.
Team Member Relations & Culture
  • Manage and resolve complex team‑member relations, supporting development conversations, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Partner on global and regional engagement and culture initiatives.
Regional Employment & Contractor Compliance
  • Own compliance across the U.S. and Canada, including federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, wage & hour requirements) and support Canada‑specific needs.
  • Assist with documentation for legal matters, investigations, or claims; help implement policy updates and guide managers on compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, and People Ops to ensure compliant processes across the full employee and contractor lifecycle.
People Operations & HR Systems
  • Partner with People Ops on onboarding, offboarding, transfers, and lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential data in Workday; support compensation cycles, calibrations, and workforce reporting.
  • Troubleshoot Workday workflows or data issues with Business Systems and support global consistency across regions.
Global HRBP Collaboration
  • Work with HRBPs across NORAM, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC to maintain global consistency in practices and programs.
  • Support global People initiatives, including performance, DEI, compensation, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • Strengthen cross‑regional people processes and communication.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 3–4+ years of progressive HRBP, HR Manager, or senior HR Generalist experience. Certification in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) is a strong plus. Experience supporting GTM/Strategy or CS/Onboarding organizations. Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian labor and employment law and compliance standards. Proven ability to coach and influence leaders at all levels. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across cultures and time zones. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel; strong data manipulation and analysis skills. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity. Strong judgment, ownership, confidentiality, and problem‑solving ability. Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, remote‑first environment. Workday experience is a strong plus. Compensation Annual compensation range: $75,000 – $120,000, based on skills and experience. Benefits Remote First, Remote Always. PTO in accordance with local labor requirements.
