Clinical Speech Language Pathologist Empower Communication Across the Lifespan in Sun-Soaked Scottsdale. Overview Engage with a diverse patient spectrum in a lively outpatient therapy clinic, occasionally supporting inpatient care. Focus on pediatric language, adult neurogenic communication, and geriatric rehabilitation. Responsibilities Assess a wide range of patients using standardized tests and observation. Develop individualized treatment strategies prioritizing immediate and long‑term needs. Provide focused, one‑on‑one speech therapy covering communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, families, and caregivers. Educate patients and families to support progress beyond sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions. Accurately record patient data and maintain documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Commit to continuous learning and stay abreast of research. Education Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if unable to obtain ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA’s Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be completed within 30 days of employment. Skills Experience with evidence‑based treatment for various age groups and speech/language/swallowing impairments. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to tailor therapy approaches to diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
