While the majority of your interactions will be online, some flexibility to include occasional in-person meetings with team members or case consultations may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop customized treatment plans tailored to each individual.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Regularly monitor client progress towards established treatment goals and adjust approaches as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and primary care providers, to create cohesive and holistic care strategies for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services and engage in high-stress situations where immediate support is needed, ensuring client safety and stabilization.

• Maintain precise and up-to-date case records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations while utilizing our electronic health records system.

• Stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health practices to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients you will work with encompass a wide range of mental health and emotional challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and significant life transitions such as divorce or grief. Our clients come from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring a culturally competent approach to therapy that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.

• A current and valid clinical social work license to practice in the state of Virginia is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
