HR Generalist- Bilingual English/Mandarin

We are seeking an experienced bilingual Mandarin/English HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR operations. From recruiting and onboarding to benefits, employee support, and compliance, you’ll play an important role in creating an organized, supportive, and effective workplace.

salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Recruiting & Onboarding: Post job openings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and support new-hire orientations.
• HR Administration & Systems: Maintain accurate HRIS records and personnel files; process routine employee updates and documentation.
• Compliance: Assist with compliance tracking and HR practices in accordance with federal and California labor requirements.
• Benefits & Timekeeping: Support employees with routine benefits questions, open enrollment, and timekeeping coordination.
• Performance & Employee Support: Track performance review cycles, assist with exit documentation, and coordinate employee training logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–5 years of hands-on HR experience.
• Fluent in  Mandarin Chinese and English , both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of California employment and labor regulations.
• strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
