About the Team About the TeamThe Global Functions Talent Acquisition team attracts, assesses, and hires top-tier talent for TikTok's global functions - including Legal, Public Policy, Brand & Communications, and Global Security - partnering with hiring leaders to understand their needs and build teams that can keep pace with a fast-growing business. The work is both strategic and hands-on: we balance data-driven decision-making, and a high-quality candidate experience across regions and time zones, while navigating highly specialized, often hard-to-fill roles that require deep market knowledge and strong cross-cultural judgment. Join us and you'll directly shape the teams behind some of TikTok's most critical functions, working at the intersection of talent strategy and business growth to help the company hire best in class talent.As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities Support candidate sourcing through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking platforms. Review resumes and identify qualified candidates based on role requirements. Create and maintain market mappings, competitor analysis and general industry insights. Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Assist in preparing recruitment reports, dashboards, and market insights to support hiring decisions. Ensure timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the interview process. Partner with recruiters to deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience. Support additional recruiting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Economics, Psychology, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Available for a full-time internship for a minimum of 3–6 months. Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Recruiting Operations, Consulting, or a technology company. Analytical mindset with experience using data, dashboards, or reporting to support decision-making. Interest in recruiting, employer branding, and talent strategy within a global organization. Benefits Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year).
