Prepare and review comprehensive workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures.Project Management: Own key areas of engagements, manage timelines, and prioritize deliverables to meet firm standards and client deadlines. Monitor budgets and communicate with managers regarding necessary adjustments.Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their operations, address issues, and maintain strong professional relationships. Escalate risks and share insights with engagement leadership.Team Leadership: Mentor and guide staff auditors, review their work for quality and completeness, and provide constructive feedback. Assist in performance reviews and contribute to team development initiatives.Unique OpportunitiesThis role provides exposure to complex accounting and reporting requirements, including the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).
