Audit Senior/SupervisorPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to lead audit engagements, ensure compliance with professional standards, and deliver high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage teams and communicate findings effectively to clients and partners. This role focuses on planning, executing, and completing audits across a variety of industries while mentoring junior staff and promoting continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage full-cycle audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, testing, and reporting.Review and prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Supervise, mentor, and develop junior audit staff; assign work, review their output, and provide constructive feedback.Communicate audit findings, issues, and recommendations clearly to clients and engagement partners.Ensure audit deliverables meet firm quality standards, deadlines, and billing targets.Coordinate with clients to obtain necessary documentation and resolve technical and operational issues during engagements.Stay current on changes in accounting and auditing standards and ensure engagements comply with professional standards.Contribute to practice development by identifying client service opportunities and assisting in proposal development and client presentations.QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) required and in good standing.Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Masters degree or equivalent preferred.3+ years of public accounting experience with progressive responsibility on audit engagements.Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles; experience applying GAAP is preferred.Proven experience supervising and mentoring audit teams; prior experience as an Audit Senior is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit software; experience with data analytics tools is desirable.High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
