Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for an immediate locum tenens opportunity at an established outpatient occupational medicine and urgent care clinic in Greensboro, North Carolina . This full-time assignment offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, no weekend coverage, and comprehensive travel accommodations, including airfare, rental car, and lodging.

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically confident PA with experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or a comparable outpatient setting. You'll evaluate and treat work-related injuries, provide walk-in urgent care services, and perform occupational health examinations in a standalone clinic environment. Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat work-related injuries and occupational illnesses.
• Provide outpatient evaluation and treatment for scheduled and walk-in urgent care patients.
• Perform pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and occupational surveillance physical examinations, as authorized by applicable certification and practice requirements.
• Assess and manage common acute illnesses, musculoskeletal injuries, and other outpatient medical concerns.
• Perform appropriate in-office procedures within your training, experience, and authorized scope of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, coordinate follow-up care, and evaluate return-to-work readiness.
• Communicate with employers regarding occupational health findings, work restrictions, and medical recommendations in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and prescribe medications within applicable North Carolina practice requirements.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and occupational health records.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and clinic personnel to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care.

Provider Requirements

• Current, active North Carolina Physician Assistant license.
• Current national Physician Assistant certification (NCCPA).
• Current DEA registration and appropriate prescriptive authority, as required for the assignment.
• Active DOT Medical Examiner Certification for performing DOT examinations.
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, family medicine, or a comparable outpatient clinical setting.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients across the age groups served by the clinic.
• Proficiency in managing work-related injuries, acute medical conditions, and occupational health evaluations.
• Comfort practicing in a standalone outpatient clinic within applicable North Carolina physician supervision requirements.
• Availability for weekday locum tenens coverage.
