What You’ll Do

• Support outpatient infectious disease care for adult patients, including HIV management
• Conduct in-office physical assessments, review medical histories, and interpret diagnostic tests
• Perform preventive health screenings based on patient needs
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up plans
• Document all patient care accurately within the EMR (EPIC) system
• Perform office-based specialty procedures adhering to departmental protocols
• Identify opportunities for improving outpatient care through clinical and system evaluations

What You Need

Required:

• Valid North Carolina RN & NP License
• Board Certification in specialty (e.g., Infectious Disease)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
• NRP Certification (for Neonatal Practice) if applicable
• DEA license

Preferred:

• Experience working with HIV and infectious disease patients
• Strong patient education skills
• Ability to review and interpret diagnostic tests swiftly and accurately
