- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business and increase revenue
- Prospect through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events to build a strong sales pipeline
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through onboarding and account growth
- Educate prospective customers on Paul Logistics' LTL solutions and value proposition
- Analyze customer shipping needs and develop customized LTL transportation solutions
- Negotiate rates, service agreements, and pricing strategies with prospective customers
- Build andmaintainrelationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and other key decision-makers
- Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure successful service execution and customer satisfaction
- Track sales activity, pipeline progress, and forecasting through CRM tools
- Monitor market trends, carrier capacity, and competitive activity within the LTL industry
- Continuously evaluate andoptimizesales processes and outreach strategies
- Promote exceptional customer service and foster long-term client partnerships
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience inlogisticssales, freight brokerage, transportation sales, or business development
- Previousexperience selling LTL transportation services strongly preferred
- Proventrack recordof developing and closing new business opportunities
- Strong understanding of LTL pricing, carrier networks, and transportation operations
- Excellent prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel and CRM platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with a goal-oriented and adaptable mindset
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and collaborate across departments
