Surgical Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule: Days - 06:30-15:00 (M-F)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• KS RN license
• AHA BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Strong scrub experience
• Familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and exploratory laparotomy cases

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and proper surgical techniques.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout surgical procedures.
• Document nursing care and patient responses accurately.

• Bi-weekly pay
• Orientation: Mon-Tues new employee orientation; Wed-Fri nursing orientation offered every week in the summer.
