The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an exceptional, board-certified clinician to join its nationally recognized Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Under the leadership of Department Chair Dr. Heakyung Kim, PM&R at UT Southwestern delivers world-class care at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and affiliated outpatient clinics. As part of one of the largest PM&R residency training programs in the United States, the faculty member will have the opportunity to work closely with residents, fellows, and medical students in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. Qualifications Education: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) Board certification: ABPMR board certified or eligible Licensure: Eligible for Texas medical licensure (must acquire prior to employment) Demonstrated clinical excellence in inpatient, outpatient, and/or procedural rehabilitation medicine Commitment to the academic mission, including education, mentorship, and scholarly contribution Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule.
