Step into a meaningful teaching opportunity as a Middle School Science educator, where you'll engage and inspire students in grades 6 through 8. You'll work within a supportive academic environment, fostering curiosity and enthusiasm for general science with a class of approximately 20 learners. The contract begins with teacher orientation on 08/24, and students kick off their school year on 08/31. The school day runs from 7:45 am to 2:55 pm, ensuring a consistent schedule for planning, instruction, and professional collaboration.
Your background in general education and science instruction at the middle school level will be essential in guiding students through hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and foundational scientific concepts. This role is perfect for teachers committed to nurturing the next generation of critical thinkers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid teaching credentials in General Education
- Previous experience teaching science, specifically at the middle school level
- Ability to teach grades 6th through 8th with confidence and enthusiasm
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging science instruction for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students
