Are you an experienced landscaping professional who enjoys leading by example? The Budd Group is seeking a Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily landscape maintenance operations while leading a small crew to deliver exceptional results. In this role, you'll combine hands-on landscaping work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Locations: Charlotte, NC and Greenville (Piedmont), SC Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Pay: $25-$28 per hour What You'll Do:
- Lead and supervise a landscape crew on commercial properties
- Coordinate daily job assignments and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Load, inspect, and maintain equipment and tools each day
- Perform mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance
- Train and mentor crew members on equipment operation and safe work practices
- Monitor job quality and address issues before leaving each site
- Identify turf, plant, irrigation, or equipment concerns and communicate them appropriately
- Complete daily reports, time records, and material tracking
- Promote a positive, safety-first work environment
- Assist with seasonal services, including snow removal when applicable
- 1-3 years of professional landscaping experience
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a crew is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to organize daily work and prioritize tasks
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Ability to safely lift at least 35 pounds throughout the workday
