Sr Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Responsibilities Manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely processing of payments according to Finance Policy and US GAAP. Work cross‑functionally across departments, communicating with internal and external partners regarding payment status. Perform full cycle accounts payable functions: coding, vouchering, reviewing, and processing all types of invoices while complying with AP internal controls, policies, and procedures. Process vendor and employee payment runs three times a month. Review employee and Amex corporate card expense reports submitted through COUPA, ensuring consistency with company policy. Review purchase requisitions submitted through ServiceNow for compliance with internal policies. Prepare month‑end accruals and the associated journal entries. Answer vendor and employee inquiries and resolve outstanding issues. Set up new vendors in SAP and update W‑9 and W8‑BEN forms. Maintain accounts payable related files and records. Assist with the annual financial audit by outside auditors. Assist in UAT testing and contribute to process improvements and automations. Prepare and generate 1099 forms in compliance with IRS regulations, ensuring all data reported on the forms are accurate and complete. Assist with special accounting/finance projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's or associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 1–3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist position or equivalent. Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills. ERP experience, especially SAP, is preferred. Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Strong time‑management and organizational skills with an eye for detail. Self‑starter, team player, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. Salary Salary Ranges: $56,940.00 – $94,900.00 (per annum).
