1st Shift - Coating Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an Eyewear Coating technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the coating of our glasses and any other optical components. This includes dip coating and AR coating the lenses. You will clean the tooling, and inspect the lenses. You will log work into our software.

Shift : 5:00am - 1:30pm

Location : Irvine, Ca

Pay : $18/hr.

What You’ll Do:

Responsible for dismantling and cleaning the AR chamber as required to keep it in good working order.
Performing general maintenance on chambers.
Assist in measuring coating for solid contents.
Maintain and organize documentation to ensure it is up to date.
Unload parts from various chambers and place into QC
Responsible for keeping work areas clean at all times.

Need to Have:

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of pressure
Knowledge of Google suite
Proficient in basic algebra

Nice to Have:

Previous machine operation experience
Vacuum deposition experience
Media blasting experience is a plus
