About the Position

Job Title

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room – Travel Contract

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties across a high-volume main OR with 23 operating rooms supporting elective surgical cases
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and adhere to all OR protocols, sterile technique standards, and unit guidelines
• Operate and manage OR-specific equipment in compliance with facility policies
• Participate in on-call rotation, including second call on select weekends and potential first call coverage for 1–2 shifts, with a required 30-minute response time
• Collaborate within a teamwork-focused environment prioritizing patient care and safety

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care CST experience in a hospital setting
• Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to meet on-call requirements with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic and/or Spine surgical procedures
• Cardiovascular (CV) surgical experience
• Familiarity with Meditech or CPN electronic medical record systems
