Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Description Financial Reporting Accountant LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant for our Houston area client. The ideal candidate will have a 2+ years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting. Primary responsibilities of the Financial Reporting Accountant role: Compilation of footnotes disclosures for the quarterly and annual filings, including 10-Q/K’s, investor reports and proxy statements Maintain the monthly and quarterly close schedule and collaborate with internal departments to ensure deadlines are adhered to Prepare month-end closing journal entries associated with allocations and accruals Understanding of and accounting interpretation of complex transactions, new business initiative and other business plans as it relates to technical accounting guidance Oversight of the quarterly and annual financial reporting process Liaison with external and internal auditors Other ad-hoc requests, as permitted Primary qualifications include: Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field 2+ years public accounting experience and/or external reporting Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a plusbut not required Sound knowledge of SEC reporting requirements and GAAP standards Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year Search managed by: April Shaw Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
