Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a rewarding role supporting students at two welcoming elementary schools near Parker, CO. This part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact working with young learners and dedicated educational teams.
In this role, you'll provide school psychologist services 8 hours weekly at each of two elementary schools—one in Parker and one in Franktown. Your primary focus will be special education assessments, collaborating closely with school staff and parents to ensure students receive the best possible support and educational opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology
- Colorado School Psychologist licensure required
- Demonstrated experience performing educational and psychological assessments in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Ability to travel between both assigned school locations each week
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
- Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility determination meetings
- Provide recommendations for interventions, services, and accommodations
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Contribute to IEP team discussions and engage in collaborative problem-solving
- Utilize effective documentation and reporting practices in alignment with district policies
