Job Description Job Title: Recruitment Coordinator Job Code: 3368 Department: Human Resources Supervisor: Executive Director of Talent Acquisition Date: 8/19/2026 FLSA Status: Exempt Compensation Range: $57,049-77,587 PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Recruitment Coordinator facilitates a wide variety of recruitment projects and activities that focus on the acquisition of top talent for high need support roles within RPS, this includes but is not limited to Bus Drivers, Paraprofessionals, and other support staff. This role plays an integral role in supporting daily operations, key deliverables, initiatives and strategies for the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. In addition to the requirements listed below, regular attendance is an essential function of this position. Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan. Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job. Proactively utilizes strategic sourcing techniques including direct sourcing, social media, internet data mining, branding initiatives, search engines, networking, university and organization partnerships, employee referrals and other recruiting techniques. Cultivates, grows, and maintains a network of candidates for hiring needs. Engages with community organizations and colleges to facilitate hiring events and career fairs. Coordinates and facilitates all recruitment activities (marketing, candidate sourcing, application management, pre-screening, scheduling interviews, etc) for assigned positions. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications. Maintains all pertinent applicant and interview data in the HRIS system. Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks. Maintains current knowledge in business, marketplace, legal and recruitment trends and requirements. Possesses a passion for the "the hunt" and being assertive and proactive in outreach and networking events to identify and sell passive candidates on opportunities. Coordinates, develops, and implements special tasks and projects as assigned. Maintains security of confidential information. Carries out such additional duties as required or as conditions necessitate. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree preferred and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a recruitment position. Bilingual preferred; Education recruitment is desirable.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Experience and proficiency with applicant tracking systems required; Applitrack experience preferred. Self-motivation, dedication and the drive to succeed. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, adeptly managing a diversity of business initiatives and the ability to quickly change gears to ensure focus on evolving business priorities. Consistent demonstration of a sense of urgency in accomplishing goals and objectives. Assistance with coordination and logistics for various projects and events, including support for recruiting events, department branding initiatives and others as requested or assigned, coordination of meeting space; communication with candidates and event attendees; assessment scheduling; maintenance of accurate files, records and candidate database; handling of confidential information; general office coordination/management and other duties as requested. Effective development and fostering of positive working relationships with all staff, guests, partners and stakeholders; coordination with teams across multiple departments. Professional, courteous handling of general inquiries and communications; superior customer support for clients, internal and external guests. Development and support of systems to streamline administrative functions. Willingness to work flexible hours and schedules. WORKING CONDITIONS: Occasional in-district and out of district travel. Extended periods of work seated at a desk, repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; occasional prolonged and/or irregular hours. - X Lifting – Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and required the substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
