Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and continual evaluations of client needs, developing tailored therapy plans to suit individual circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy sessions, applying therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment plans, ensuring all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, contributing to the overall quality of care.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops and training on emerging trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The practice focuses on delivering personalized care to those in need, particularly underserved communities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
